Taxi fares vary from area to area but still are high. Avoid taxis in rush hours as traffic jams can be terrible and taxi counters include forced stoppages. Ordering a taxi by phone, be ready to pay extra 20% - the same for riding after 11 pm.

A yellow lamp on a taxi's top means busy, red - vacant and green - for a surcharge. Don't try to open its doors yourself - they're run automatically by the driver. Giving tips is also uncommon here.
